The Door Story
THE DOOR was born in 2022, just after the post pandemic quiet when Koh Samui was still slowly coming back to life. What began in Lamai as a small beach club with great food, creative cocktails and a laid-back island vibe quickly became one of the island’s favorite spots. Locals, travelers, families and young adventurers all found their way to us, turning THE DOOR into a vibrant destination known for its atmosphere and its welcoming spirit.
After more than three unforgettable years, the Lamai location closed its chapter as we began building something new. Today, THE DOOR has reopened in Bangrak -bigger, more stylish, and designed with an even richer atmosphere while keeping the same warmth and hospitality that have always defined us. No matter how much we grow or how beautiful the space becomes, the heart of THE DOOR will always be the feeling of being welcomed like family.
